At the upcoming AWS Summit in Washington, DC, Tushar Dhanani and I are hosting a chalk talk (session EUC 201) focused on what’s new with AWS and End User Computing (EUC) services. In this chalk talk, we will provide a high-level overview of AWS EUC services and new features for Amazon WorkSpaces Family services and Amazon AppStream 2.0. Chalk talks are designed to be highly interactive, so we’ll leave lots of time to ask technical questions about real world challenges. This is a 200-level session, so we’ll assume you have general knowledge of end-user computing, Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS), and VDI, but no prior experience is required to attend.

Within WorkSpaces Family, we released Amazon WorkSpaces Core, support for Ubuntu Desktop on Amazon Workspaces, native video conferencing, Windows 11, Multi-Region Resiliency and updates to the WorkSpaces Streaming Protocol (WSP). For AppStream 2.0, we released support for UDP streaming, Elastic fleets, new instance sizes and Regions, and GUI support for the Linux Image Assistant.
