Here we are writing about Nothing again and this time we have news on the Phone (1)’s specifications and European pricing, which almost completes the picture. Less than two weeks from the July 12th launch and with Nothing collecting non-refundable £20 deposits from would-be buyers, a separate leak has also revealed that the Phone (1) will be priced from €469.99 with a pair of Ear (1) earbuds bundled in. We’ve got more details for you after the break.

First up are the Phone (1) specifications which come via Mukul Sharma on Twitter, revealing that Nothing’s first smartphone will sport a 6.55-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. As previously confirmed by Carl Pei himself, there’s a Snapdragon 778G+ processor providing the grunt which will apparently be accompanied by 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage.

There’s Gorilla Glass (an unspecified version) protection on the front and back of the Phone (1), with a 50MP main camera capable of 4K video at 60fps and featuring Live HDR, and a unknown secondary sensor. As all phones should at this point in 2022, the Phone (1) will reportedly launch running Android 12 which will have the Nothing OS running on top with its bespoke widgets.

The design of the Phone (1) includes the Glyph Interface on the rear panel that also features wireless charging capability, symmetrical bezels, and an aluminum frame.

Details on pricing also comes from Mukul Sharma who reports that you can expect to pay €469 (~$) for the 8/128GB variant, €499 (~$) for the 8/256GB version, and €549 for the top model that has 12/256GB RAM and storage.

Something that is unexpected is that the Phone (1) will also be available in a rather neat-looking black colorway which isn’t as harsh on the eyes as the white version, as seen above.

If you are in Europe or the UK, have you paid the £20 non-refundable deposit to reserve your Phone (1) from Nothing? And if so, are you happy with the hardware and pricing details? Let us know in the comments below.
