3. On the DroidCam phone app, look for two entries for WiFi IP and DroidCam Port.
4. On the DroidCam for Windows, head to Device IP and DroidCam Port.
5. Enter the values you obtained in Step-3 from the Phone app of DroidCam.
6. Click the Start button to launch DroidCam.

The live capture from the phone’s camera(now a web camera) will show up on the computer screen.

If you use a Mac and want to use an Android phone as a webcam, then your best bet is to use the app Iriun. It is a free app, and setting it up is a cakewalk. However, you will get a watermark on your videos.

1. Grab the Android app on the Google Play Store on your phone.
   
2. Get the MacOS client app from the official website of Iriun.
   
3. Launch both apps on the respective devices.
4. The devices will pair with each other automatically, and the phone can be used as a webcam.

Learn Using iPhone as A Webcam on Your PC

You can try the Camo app from Reincubate if you’re using an iPhone and want to use it as a webcam. With the free version of the app, you can record up to 720p. Otherwise, get the $5/month membership to enable recording in 1080p resolution. This app works irrespective of whether you have a Windows or Mac.

To use Camo on your iPhone as a webcam,

1. Download the Camo iPhone app on the App Store.
   
2. Make sure to allow permission for the app to use the mic and camera of the iPhone.
3. Get the client app for Mac/Windows as well.
   
4. Launch the Camo app on iPhone and PC/Mac.
5. Connect your iPhone to your PC using a lightning connector.,
